Make your very own elderberry syrup with this DIY kit! Everything you need is in the kit, you just add water and honey to taste. Each kit makes 1 quart of syrup. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 months.
Ingredients: organic whole elderberries, organic clove, organic ginger & organic ceylon cinnamon sticks
Instructions:
Add contents of kit to 4 cups distilled or filtered water in a pan over medium heat. Bring water to a boil, then reduce heat and gently simmer for about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool a bit. While it is still warm (not hot), strain and add honey to taste.
**NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 1 YEAR OLD, DUE TO HONEY CONTENT OF FINISHED PRODUCT.
Adults take 1 tbs daily or as often as needed when you feel like a cold is coming on. Can be taken several times a day to boost immune system.
